The Export Survey Launch was filmed and we are delighted to make this material available in the form of short clips hosted at YouTube. You can now read the Survey, then watch Michael's presentation while viewing the slides.
In the first clip, Adrian welcomes the attendees and provides background on the ICT Industry Export Project.
Next Michael gives an introduction to the results of the survey, then speaks in more detail about the 2005 survey.
The next clip explores background information gathered about the ICT Industry.
The survey identified exporting patterns - and Michael looks at these trends.
Michael continues to present the exporting patterns in the following clip, where he looks at interstate and overseas exports and target markets by location and sector. He also looks at the assistance required by ICT exporters. Michael then briefly answered some questions.
Christine provided an overview of ICT exports, introduced attending high-profile guests and talked about some SA ICT companies. She also addressed the comments about assistance needed for exporting.
Finally, the winners of the lucky door prize and the respondents' prize were drawn.
