Scott Hicks is the Managing Director of Adam Internet, a South Australian family-owned business which has experienced rapid and successful growth over the past few years and is now one of the State’s largest Internet Service Providers.
At age 30 Scott has spent his whole career with Adam Internet developing the business model and managing a young and enthusiastic staff.
Whilst Scott has been at the helm of the company it has secured a Telecommunication Carrier’s licence and successfully deployed its own network of ADSL+2 Broadband exchanges throughout metropolitan Adelaide.
The company’s growth is impressive, with over 70,000 customers in SA and revenues in excess of $20m last year. Scott employs almost 100 staff and plans for revenues to be $100m with over 300 staff over the next three years.

James Pickering is responsible for Cisco's Service Provider and Defence market in SA and Tasmania. For nine years prior to joining Cisco, James ran a technology consulting company, and knows from first-hand experience the challenges facing small to medium businesses in communication and the power of technology to create a competitive edge.
James' role is to ensure Cisco's customers and partners are able to best use technology and the Internet in their business and to realise the benefits and possibilities available to them.
