Mark Keough, Archer College

Mark is an e-learning pioneer, having founded TechWorks, one of the earliest e-learning companies to use the Web to deliver online learning to major corporations in 1995. Qantas College Online in 1996 met the learning needs of over 30,000 Qantas employees worldwide and won the prestigious Australian Training Award for 2001. Mark was Vice President, Monster Learning in Boston USA, where he managed the project for training volunteers for the Salt Lake City Olympics, among many other duties. Mark founded Archer College in 2003, where he continues as its CEO. During 2006 and 2007 he has regularly consulted on e-learning to a number of Australia’s leading organisations including Westpac, Mitsubishi and Qantas.

Learning as a utility: the impact of Broadband on learning at Home and at Work.

Presentation Detail
Mark will look at the big changes in education that are happening at work and at home because of the Internet. Do we need schools, TAFEs and Universities any more? What are our options for learning now? What technologies will make Learning in the future akin to turning on a tap for water or the switch for electricity?
