Internode Grabs Control of Global Links

National broadband innovator Internode is overcoming the dearth of international data capacity by using Cisco technology to deploy its own high bandwidth links to the US.

Scheduled to go live by mid-March, the fully redundant, 622 megabits per second "data pipe" will replace Internode's current international capacity suppliers, NTT Verio and MCI. More

 

Internode Launches Australia First ADSL2
National broadband innovator Internode has launched the first ADSL2 broadband service in Australia – delivering peak speeds faster than Telstra’s cable service.

From March 1, Internode has offered broadband services running as fast as 12 megabits per second (Mbps) - eight times faster than current broadband - to customers in Melbourne, Adelaide and rural areas of South Australia. More
