Strategic Data Management sells Microsoft Great Plains South Australian division
Dynamic further extends Great Plains
Melbourne-based Microsoft Great Plains implementation specialist Dynamic Business Consultants continues to expand with the purchase of the Great Plains division from Strategic Data Management (SDM).
Strategic Data Management, a gold certified Microsoft partner, has sold only the Great Plains division which only operated in SA. It continues to specialize in Microsoft CRM, Workflow and Collaboration, .Net Application development, Enterprise Project Management and Business Intelligence.
The transfer of the SDM Great Plains division follows Dynamic’s recent expansion into Adelaide.
Managing Director of Dynamic Business Consultants, Mr Terry Bolden said South Australia’s manufacturing industry continues to be a strategic target market for the consultancy’s Great Plains application.
“There is a great deal of mid-sized infrastructure service suppliers working around South Australia’s mining, steel and shipbuilding industries where Great Plains can be applied,” he said.
Managing Director of Strategic Data Management, Mr Geoff Rohrsheim said, “the sale of the Great Plains division has freed up SDM to concentrate on its core business of corporate performance management and focus on growing our SA business and our expansion into Victoria and NSW. With Great Plains representing less than 2% of our revenue, we need to continue to focus our efforts on the traditional Microsoft business we have done since 1999. SDM enjoyed a 43% increase in sales year on year and have forecast a further 25% growth this financial year”.
