The Expo attracted over 6,000 people who were interested in career information, while not all

attended the Go For It stand over the two days it attracted more than its fair share of visitors.

 Go for IT was an initiative of the South Australian Government supported by the ICT industry

in South Australian through SolutionCity, the three Adelaide Universities and TAFE.  The Expo

was focused on providing guidance to young people, in particular High School students about

career opportunities.

It is intended that the Go for IT initiative will in the future be developed into an ongoing

Promotion to High School students to promote the wonderful and exciting careers available

both locally and worldwide in ICT roles.
