The ICT Industry Export Project
The goal of the ICT Industry Export Project is for South Australia to have a vibrant, world renowned ICT Industry which makes a significant contribution to the State’s economic success.
To that end the ICT Industry Export Plan has been developed by the Export Development Executive Christine Cromarty, with generous assistance and consultation from the South Australian Government, industry association members, the ICT Council for South Australia and companies of South Australia.
The Plan analyses the total ICT Industry in South Australia, examines world demand and trends for ICT products and services, and explores markets which have potential for export growth. It concentrates on those markets identified by the ICT industry as target markets, and focuses effort into niche or segment strategies of highest contribution.
The Plan identifies a set of strategies to guide the export activities of the ICT Industry. This is the framework for the ICT industry to realise its export potential, providing direction and leadership from the industry itself.
