Business Areas
- Both high technology and low technology companies
- Focus on manufacturing, electronics, IT, defence, energy, agribusiness and biotechnology
Company Size
- Companies assessed range from $2 million to $120 million turnover
- Sales history of at least 2 years
- Positive cash flow from operations
- Management team in place
- Net assets of less than $50 million
- Proven products or services
Investment Level
- Typically at least $1 million
- Upper limit of $5 million
Some areas of focus:
- Expansion of companies to take on new markets and/or develop new products
- Acquisition of other companies
- Buy outs and facilitating changes of ownership
Funds are targeted toward companies with a proven product or service and an existing positive cash flow rather than start-up or seed stage companies. Appointment of Board representation is linked with provision of capital. Paragon Advisory sources suitably qualified directors with industry specific experience and a high level of commercial, marketing and financial skills to assist companies in their development and growth.
